Sharing Love in Korea (SL!K)

"My command is this: love each other as I have loved you."
John 15:12

About Us

Sharing Love in Korea (SL!K) is a child-advocacy non-profit organization that pairs sponsors with children living in orphanages and children's homes in South Korea. The children are suffering from economic poverty, societal stigmas, and developmental challenges. More than that, they suffer from a lack of love and a loving, safe family.

SL!K aims to help alleviate some of the children's deepest longings by showing them the love of Christ through sponsors who care for them. Through prayers, financial support, and a relationship built through letters, kakao messages, and meetings, the children feel like they are seen, heard, and valued by someone in this world.

How You Can Help

Our goal is for every child living in orphanages and children's homes in South Korea to become responsible, fulfilled, joyful adults. Becoming a sponsor can help make this goal a reality. Sponsors can help their child(ren) through financial support sent monthly, prayers, and direct communication with the children.

Write A Letter

Letters are a simple yet meaningful way to show a SL!K child that somebody loves them and is thinking of them. Children love receiving letters from their sponsors and some have been known to keep their letters for years, reading them repeatedly.

Donate To A Cause

In addition to sending monthly contributions to a sponsored child, there are other ways to help our cause. There are several programs as well as the general fund that need your financial assistance. SL!K is 100% volunteer-run, and all funds go directly towards program costs such as the annual Vision Trip.

Volunteer

Please donate your time and talents to SL!K! We are always in need of Korean/English translators, photographers, video editors, chaperones, and administrative assistance.
